On July 4, 2021 at 11:30 AM, Cagayan de Oro - Jolo experienced a crash involving Lockheed C-130 Hercules, operated by Philippine Air Force - Hukbong Himpapawid NG Pilipinas, with the event recorded near Jolo Island Sulu.
