On August 30, 2008 at 09:03 PM, Caracas – Latacunga experienced a crash involving Boeing 737-200, operated by Conviasa - Consorcio Venezolano de Industrias Aeronáuticas y Servicios Aéreos, with the event recorded near Toacaso Cotopaxi.
