On August 22, 1981 at 10:00 AM, Taipei - Kaohsiung experienced a crash involving Boeing 737-200, operated by Far Eastern Air Transport - FAT, with the event recorded near Sanyi Miaoli County (<U+82D7><U+6817><U+7E23>).
