On August 11, 1974 at 12:00 AM, Bamako - Kano - Mecca - Jeddah - Khartoum - Kano - Bamako experienced a crash involving Ilyushin II-18, operated by Air Mali, with the event recorded near Linoghin Zoundwéogo (Manga).
