The airplane was engaged in a world tour organized by the Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) under the command of the General Italo Balbo. While cruising along the Spanish coast, the crew encountered an unexpected situation and was forced to ditch the airplane that crashed in unknown circumstances about 5 km off the Pinedo Beach in Valencia. All six occupants were rescued, among them General Valle was slightly injured.

While taking from the Etang-de-Berre. on a flight from Marseille to Genoa, the seaplane crashed in unknown circumstances. The radio navigator and a female passenger were killed while four other occupants, among them the pilot Italo Balbo were injured.

The seaplane departed Syracuse harbor on a flight to Tripoli via Malta, carrying 14 passengers and a crew of four. Shortly after takeoff, the captain encountered engine problems and was forced to ditch the airplane few km offshore. All 18 occupants were rescued by the crew of a ship while the aircraft was lost during the tow.

While approaching Valetta, an engine failed, forcing the crew to attempt an emergency landing off the Maltese coast. All nine occupants were rescued and later embarked on the destroyer named 'Brillant'. The aircraft was towed but considered as damaged beyond repair.

The seaplane departed Marseille on a schedule service to Barcelona, carrying two passengers and a crew of four. AT 0940LT, the radio navigator sent a message to report his position off Cape of Creus, northeast of Empuriabrava. It seems the aircraft disappeared shortly later in unknown circumstances. No trace of the float plane nor the crew was ever found.
