Comayagua-Palmerola AFB Comayagua

The crew was completing a local training flight at Comayagua-Palmerola AFB when the twin engine aircraft crashed in unknown circumstances onto a building. The captain was killed while the copilot and the flight engineer were injured. The aircraft was destroyed. Mocorón-Durzona Gracias a Dios

On approach to Mocorón-Durzona Airport, the crew encountered poor visibility due to rain falls. Too low, the aircraft struck a hilly terrain and crashed few km from the airfield. All 52 occupants were killed.

Mt de la Muerte San José (Central Valley)

En route from Tegucigalpa-Toncontin Airport to Howard AFB in Panama City, while cruising in limited visibility, the four engine airplane struck the slope of Mt de la Muerte located about 54 km southeast of San José, Costa Rica. As the airplane failed to arrive at destination, SAR operations were initiated but eventually abandoned after few days as no trace of the aircraft nor the four crew members was found. The wreckage was located on 16 May 1975 in an isolated and mountainous area.

Valle de Jamastrán El Paraíso

The twin engine aircraft was departing an airstrip at Valle de Jamastrán when it crashed while taking off and came to rest, bursting into flames. All three occupants evacuated safely while the aircraft was destroyed by a post crash fire. Crew: Cpt Jorge Torres O., pilot, Lt Oscar Colindrez C., copilot.
