A Kenmore Air float-equipped de Havilland Canada DHC-3T Vazar Turbine Otter, N709KA, flight KEN140, was destroyed when it crashed during an emergency landing near Sucia Island, Washington. The pilot and ten passengers were able to disembark and survived the accident. All eleven people on board were injured, one is in critical condition.
