The bomber aircraft was engaged in a combat mission when it was shot down by the pilot of a German fighter. Out of control, the aircraft dove into the ground and crashed in flames, killing all five crewmen. Crew: Lt Anceaux, Lt Swagerman, Sgt Riemsdijk, Sgt Douwes Dekker, Sdt Wijnstra.
