En route from Chicago to Oakland, while cruising over the area of Sterling, west of Chicago, the crew encountered poor weather conditions with heavy rain falls, turbulences and thunderstorm activity. The captain decided to attempt an emergency landing in an open field when, upon touchdown, the airplane went out of control and crashed. All eight occupants evacuated safely.

En route from Chicago to San Francisco, the crew encountered poor visibility due to foggy conditions. Too low, the aircraft impacted tress and crashed on hilly terrain near Loomis. The aircraft was destroyed and all four occupants were injured.

Shortly after takeoff, while climbing, the crew encountered technical problems and attempted to make an emergency landing in a pasture. All occupants evacuated safely while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
