Ryanair flight FR4818, a Boeing 737 MAX 8-200, was involved in an accident over Tarragona province, Spain. CIAIAC Spain has not yet released more information. The same day another aircraft encountered severe turbulence over northern Spain, causing a serious injury.

Kraków-J. Paul II Balice International Airport (KRK/EPKK) -

Ryanair flight FR5519, a Boeing 737 MAX 8-200, was evacuated on the apron at Kraków (KRK) after smoke was reported in the cabin. While taxiing for takeoff, a member of the aircraft's cabin crew reported fumes/smoke coming out of the back of the galley, identifying it as smoke and fire. She notified the captain of the aircraft, who, along with the information about the increase in the concentration of fumes/smoke, stopped taxiing and decided to immediately evacuate the aircraft. During the evacuation, one of the passengers suffered a broken leg and was taken to hospital.
