On October 1, 1948 at 12:00 AM, Yogyakarta – Serang – Bandar Lampung – Bukittinggi experienced a crash involving Douglas C-47 Skytrain (DC-3), operated by Indonesian Air Force - TNI-AU Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Udara, with the event recorded near Bandar Lampung Lampung.
