On February 11, 2026 at 12:00 AM, Lagos-Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS/DNMM) → Port Harcourt Airport (PHC/DNPO) experienced a crash involving Boeing 737-7GL (WL), operated by Arik Air, with the event recorded near SW of Benin City -.

At 07:38 LT, having climbed through FL270, the aircraft began to descend and subsequently diverted to BNI, where it landed at 08:05 LT.
