Wamena – Derakma

On July 5, 2017 at 11:10 AM, Wamena – Derakma experienced a crash involving Pilatus PC-6 (Porter & Turbo Porter), operated by Associated Mission Aviation - AMA, with the event recorded near Wamena Special Region of Papua.

The wreckage was found a day later by the crew of a helicopter. All five occupants were killed. At the time of the accident, VMC conditions prevailed.
