On April 28, 2015 at 02:55 PM, Iwakuni - Iwakuni experienced a crash involving Shin Meiwa US-2, operated by Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force - Kaijo Jieitai, with the event recorded near Cape Ashizuri Shikoku.
