On December 10, 2004 at 10:50 AM, Puerto Ayacucho – La Carlota experienced a crash involving PZL-Mielec AN-28, operated by Venezuelan National Guard - Guardia Nacional Bolivariana de Venezuela, with the event recorded near El Junquito Caracas Federal District.
