On May 8, 1998 at 12:00 AM, Campo dos Afonsos - Campo dos Afonsos experienced a crash involving Embraer C-95 Bandeirante, operated by Brazilian Air Force - Força Aérea Brasileira, with the event recorded near Barra de Tijuca Rio de Janeiro.
