On October 30, 1994 at 10:32 AM, Batagay – Verkhoyansk – Sartan – Barylas – Arylakh experienced a crash involving PZL-Mielec AN-2, operated by Yakutavia, with the event recorded near Batagay Republic of Yakutia (Sakha).
