On July 10, 1985 at 11:46 PM, Karshi – Ufa – Leningrad experienced a crash involving Tupolev TU-154, operated by Aeroflot - Russian International Airlines, with the event recorded near Ushquduq Navoiy Province (Navoiy viloyati).

The aircraft was totally destroyed upon impact and all 200 occupants were killed.
