On April 29, 1983 at 12:00 AM, Guayaquil - Quito experienced a crash involving Sud-Aviation SE-210 Caravelle, operated by SAN Ecuador - Servicios Aéreos Nacionales, with the event recorded near Guayaquil Guayas.
