On May 16, 1972 at 12:30 PM, Kaliningrad - Kaliningrad experienced a crash involving Antonov AN-24, operated by Soviet Navy - Voyenno-morskoy flot CCCP, with the event recorded near Svetlogorsk Kaliningrad oblast.
