On April 28, 1971 at 12:00 AM, Manaus - Rio de Janeiro experienced a crash involving Douglas C-118 Liftmaster, operated by Brazilian Air Force - Força Aérea Brasileira, with the event recorded near Ponta Pelada AFB, Manaus Amazonas.
