On January 16, 1963 at 12:00 AM, Southend – Marrakech – Agadir – Fuerteventura – Las Palmas – Dakar experienced a crash involving Scottish Aviation Twin Pioneer, operated by Bristow Helicopters, with the event recorded near Chbika Guelmim-Es Semara.
