A TRACEP-Congo Aviation Let L-410, 7Q-GMR, lost contact about ten minutes after takeoff from Beni (BNC). The crew had reported they had lost power on one engine and were returning to BNC. The plane crashed into a forest, about 5 NM from the village of Buruko, in the Walikale territory, not far from the village of Pinga. Unconfirmed reports say one of the crew survived the accident.
