Khartoum Khartoum (<U+0627><U+0644><U+062E><U+0631><U+0637><U+0648><U+0645>)

The airplane was engaged in an exercise with a second Sudanese Air Force Antonov AN-32. After touchdown on runway 18, the crew started the braking procedure when the airplane was struck by the AN-32 from behind. After collision, both airplanes went out of control and came to rest on the runway edge. There were no casualties while both aircraft were destroyed. It appears that the AN-32 landed shortly after the AN-26 and was unable to stop in a timely manner.

Al Fashir North Darfur (<U+0634><U+0645><U+0627><U+0644> <U+062F><U+0627><U+0631><U+0641><U+0648><U+0631>)

After touchdown on runway 05, the aircraft went out of control, veered off runway and came to rest. There were no injuries while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair as the left engine and the undercarriage were torn off.

After landing at Aweil Airport, both tyres on the nose gear burst. The aircraft went out of control, veered off runway and collided with a building, bursting into flames. The aircraft was destroyed and all 7 crew and 13 passengers (Sudanese soldiers) were killed.

Nasir Upper Nile (<U+0623><U+0639><U+0627><U+0644><U+064A> <U+0627><U+0644><U+0646><U+064A><U+0644>)

The approach was completed in low visibility due to poor weather conditions. The crew continued the approach and landed too far down the runway, reducing the landing distance available. After touchdown, th aircraft was unable to stop within the remaining distance, overrun and crashed in the Sobat River. Three crew and 24 passengers were killed while 30 other occupants were injured. Flight ZY001 was performed from Khartoum to Nasir with an intermediate stop in Malakal on behalf of the Sudanese Government. Several officials were on board, among them the Vice President, General Al Zubair Mohammed Saleh who was killed in the accident.

Gogrial Warrap (<U+0648><U+0627><U+0631><U+0627><U+0628>)

In unclear circumstances, the aircraft was hit by ground fire. The crew attempted an emergency landing in Gogrial. The aircraft crash landed and came to rest some 200 metres further. There were no casualties while the aircraft was written off. The exact date of the accident remains unknown, somewhere in 1997. The wreckage is still there at N08.542051 E28.09754 by July 2009.
