Ford 5

While taking off from Medellin-Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport, aircraft swerved on runway, veered off and collided with a Ford 5 of SCADTA that was taxiing for departure. Both aircraft were destroyed by fire and several explosions. All seven occupants aboard the Ford of SCADTA were killed as aboard the SACO's Ford, ten occupants were killed as three others were injured. Crew: Ernesto Samper Mendoza, pilot and founder of SACO, and one copilot.
