Pilatus PC-6 (Porter & Turbo Porter)

Crashed in unknown circumstances after takeoff from Jaspers Brush Airfield. Two occupants were killed and eight others were injured.

The crew was completing a training mission consisting of touch-and-go at Ag Strip located 20 km east of Tenterfield. After takeoff, while in initial climb, the twin engine aircraft struck a tree, stalled and crashed, bursting into flames. All four crew members were killed. Crew: Maj Lynn Hummerston, Cpl Peter McCarthy +2 PNGDF pilots.

Pilatus PC-6 (Porter & Turbo Porter)

Crashed in unknown circumstances in an open field located in Goombungee while engaged in a training flight. The pilot, sole on board, escaped with minor injuries.

The pilot, sole on board, was completing a demo flight at RAAF Point Cook. While making a low pass, he lost control of the aircraft that stalled and crashed, bursting into flames. The pilot was killed.

During a night takeoff from Weipa Airport, the single engine airplane went out of control, veered off runway and came to rest. There were no casualties.
