Christened 'Courchevel', the single airplane departed Belleville-sur-Saône Aerodrome in the afternoon to complete a local flight for seven passengers who made their first flight. En route, in unknown circumstances, the airplane went out of control and crashed in a field located in Saint-Jean d’Ardières, about 40 km northwest of Lyon. The wreckage was found at the border with Pizay. Six occupants were injured while two passengers were killed.

Chambéry-Aix-les-Bains Savoie

Following an uneventful flight from Paris-Le Bourget, the crew started the approach to Chambéry-Aix-les-Bains Airport by night. In a limited visibility, the twin engine aircraft struck the ground and came to rest in a swampy area located few dozen meters short of runway 18 threshold. All 17 occupants escaped uninjured while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair. At the time of the accident, the airport was not equipped with an ILS system.
