During the landing roll, the aircraft began to veer to the left. Attempts to correct this using the right rudder and the brakes were unsuccessful. This resulted in a sudden turn, during which the lower wing struck the ground, causing damage that rendered the aircraft unfit for further operation. The pilot was uninjured.
